GPN Connects MTV with Eastern Europe
Production Services Agency Signs Vilks; Gains Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia; Facilitates Doco for Teens

LOS ANGELES - Global Production Network (GPN) has signed Vilks Productions for exclusive North American representation, enabling it to further offer premium production service capabilities and locations to producers wanting to shoot in Eastern Europe.

Vilks Productions is the region's leading production services company in the Baltic States of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. It specializes in TV commercials and music videos, working with key ad agencies, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather, Young & Rubicam, McCann-Erickson as well as Sony Entertainment's music label.

GPN hooked MTV New York up with Vilks in October for a documentary about the Holocaust that MTV produced in Lithuania.

"We were super pleased with everything on the shoot and Vilks did an amazing job," says MTV coordinating producer Katy Garfield. "We wanted to shoot in the Baltic States for historical reasons and GPN immediately found Vilks and worked to make sure we were happy with them."
