GPN Inks Uruguay
El Camino Films Signs Exclusive Deal with Global Production Network
LOS ANGELES - Global Production Network (GPN) is proud to announce the signing of El Camino Films, the "oldest - newest" production service company in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Executive Producer/Owner, Nicholas "Nico" Aznarez, helms El Camino Films after leaving his post of five years as Owner/Executive Producer of Mojo Films with his partner, renowned commercial director, Leonardo Ricagni.
"In signing El Camino Films for exclusive U.S. representation, GPN has secured an important production partner in South America," says Harry Tracosas, Prexy of GPN. "The addition of El Camino to the GPN network in South America, means we are able to provide an invaluable service provider to clients interested in widening their international production options in this emerging, yet untapped, production region."
While partnered at Mojo, Aznarez relocated to the U.S. where he held a two-year tenure with A Band Apart in Los Angeles, spearheading their Hispanic division. In the position, Aznarez increased his production expertise working with high profile U.S. producers such as Jeff Armstrong, Joby Barnhart and Jeanine Pepler. He then segued into production services for producers, production companies and clients including Villains, Great Guns, Coca-Cola, Vodafone and P&G.
"Because Uruguay is a small country that competes with Argentina and Brazil, it is very important our customers know that El Camino is a reliable and reputable option when producing film in South America. I believe my experience and production history will inspire curiosity and confidence for those exploring production options in Uruguay," says Aznarez.
