GPN Signs Deal in Italy
Panorama Films Joins the Global Production Network Roster
LOS ANGELES - Global Production Network (GPN) has signed Panorama Films to an exclusive North American representation deal, adding to its impressive roster of top-ranked production services companies throughout Europe.
After two decades of producing and managing production companies in Italy, Chief Executive/Producer, Marco Valerio Pugini partnered with Executive Producer, Ute Leonhardt in 1997 and formed Panarama Films. Considered among the top production services companies in Italy, Panorama has a rich background in commercials, television shows and feature films. Among their commercial clients are Kodak, Mitsubishi, Visa, Merrill Lynch and Toyota. TV and Film credits include HBO’s The Sopranos, Angels in America and, My House in Umbria, Disney’s The Lizzy McGuire Movie, and Paramount’s Judas.
Pugini has been active in the film business since 1981, working his way up through the freelance ranks, from location manager to unit manager to assistant director on his way to becoming a company head. Leonhardt began her film career in Los Angeles first working in special effects for Praxis Film Works and then as the head of post-production at Propaganda Films. She freelanced internationally as a producer on commercial, TV and film projects for 4 years before relocating to Rome and forming Panorama with Pugini.
Panorama has successfully provided logistical and organizational support and supervised multilingual production throughout Italy and the northern and southern countries of the Mediterranean for clients in Europe, from the Americas and the Far East. The company has a long format division and a short format division; its support staff includes accounting, production and office management. Panorama’s offices in Rome are equipped with state of the art computer equipment and an on-site editing facility.
