GPN Expands Its European Base
Stockholm Productions Joins GPN's Worldwide Network
LOS ANGELES – Global Production Network (GPN) signed an exclusive international representation deal with Stockholm Production in Sweden, continuing to bring the best production services companies in the world to the attention filmmakers everywhere.
Executive Producers Jőrgen Lőőf and Pelle Ohrgren, and Head of Production Berit Tilly founded Stockholm Production several years ago after coming together at Atmosfar in the ’90s. Lőőf began his career as a photographer in the United States, but returned to Sweden in 1992 to produce and direct through Atmosfar. Ohrgren and Tilly joined him there and together they have worked on projects for clients in Sweden and abroad including Volvo, Ericsson, SAS, Nokia, Carlsberg, IKEA, Toyota and Mazda.
“We want to extend our reach and be able to provide excellent location and production solutions to anyone in the world,” says Tilly. “GPN’s commitment to bringing the right people together for the best in production is exactly what we wanted, and how we want to be known.”
Stockholm has excellent equipment, experienced crews, a rich talent pool and state-of-the art postproduction houses. The extensive gallery of location photographs on the Stockholm Production website, www.stockholmproduction.com, showcases the city’s landscape and numerous waterways in addition to the country’s beaches, mountains, villas and castles.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that Jőrgen, Pelle and Berit are a first-rate team,” says GPN Founder and President, Harry Tracosas. “They have worked on excellent projects and produced wonderful work. They know their crews, talent, equipment and all that Sweden has to offer very, very well. It’s a beautiful country which I’m very happy to be sharing with GPN’s clients.”
