GPN inks Major Latin American Contract
Chilean/Argentinean Production Company BenitoCine Signs Exclusive Deal with Global Production Network
LOS ANGELES - Shoring up its presence in the burgeoning production market of South America, Global Production Network is proud to announce the signing of exclusive representation with one of the continent's most eminent film production companies.
BenitoCine, based in Santiago, Chile, and with a sister office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is positioned in two strategic regions, financially and creatively, within Latin America. Helmed by Owner/CEO Georgos Nicolaides, BenitoCine is fully staffed in both countries and services clients with executive producers Veronica Figueroa and Felipe Nogueira.
"With the signing of BenitoCine for exclusive U.S. and international representation rights, GPN has secured an important production partner in South America," says Harry Tracosas, President of GPN. "This relationship will be invaluable to GPN's clients interested in expanding their scope of international production by having the ability to provide comparative bids from both regions and/or providing continuity of production service when filming in these two very vibrant countries on any one project. Given BenitoCine's impeccable production track record, I'm thrilled to be working with them exclusively."
In the past six months, BenitoCine and GPN have successfully produced projects for clients including: Moxie Pictures/McDonald's; Independent Media/PBS; and Reactor Films/Pizza Hut.
