Studio
Magic Hour does not operate its own shooting stage, as our production-service model is primarily location-led. We do, however, operate a full production base in Casablanca designed to support international teams throughout prep and production.
Our facilities include production and prep offices, meeting and briefing areas for client and agency sessions, casting and pre-production space, an in-house cinema and screening room, and a dedicated sound recording studio.
For stage-based productions, we source studios and shooting stages in Casablanca, Marrakech and Ouarzazate through trusted partner facilities, selecting the appropriate space according to the scale and technical requirements of each brief.
Camera, lighting, grip, drone, underwater and specialist equipment are sourced through our vetted rental network and managed by our production team from booking through return. Hair, make-up, wardrobe and styling teams are selected project by project from our network of experienced local and international collaborators.
Technical Facts
Magic Hour is a production service company rather than a dedicated post-production or virtual-production studio, so we do not operate an in-house render farm or proprietary finishing pipeline.
Technical workflows are built project by project with the client’s appointed director, DoP, DIT, VFX and post-production partners. Camera, lighting, grip and specialist systems are sourced locally or imported as required, while on-set data is handled through professional DIT workflows with verified backups and delivery protocols agreed in advance.
Our Casablanca base also includes an in-house sound recording studio, allowing us to support voice recording, sound sessions and selected audio work locally.
When a brief requires specialised capabilities such as VFX supervision, motion control, virtual production, underwater filming, aerial work or other specialist systems, we bring in the appropriate local or international partners and integrate them directly into the production plan.
Sustainability
Sustainability is integrated into the way we plan productions rather than treated as a separate layer. Through Green Hour, our internal eco-production approach, we look for practical ways to reduce the footprint of each shoot without compromising the creative result.
We prioritise local crews and suppliers, consolidate transport and company moves, reduce single-use plastics through refill solutions and reusable service ware, favour LED lighting where appropriate, and plan sets and props with rental, reuse and responsible disposal in mind.
We also aim to minimise unnecessary freight and international travel by sourcing locally whenever the required quality and safety standards can be met, and we adapt waste-management solutions to the infrastructure available at each location.
Our objective is simple: reduce the footprint of the production without reducing what appears on screen.
